Glancing out the dirtied bus windows
The sky always looked darker on these days
Clouds were painted as solid black swirls
(Kinds one might find in traditional Chinese paintings)
Enclosing around the Moon as if to suffocate it
I felt uneasy all the sudden.
Walking through streets that lead to home
Gentle moonlight follows my every step
Warily peeking up towards the unknown night
Soft but strangely strong, the Moon was on its own
Free from everything surrounding it
Breathing a sigh of relief,
I looked for my keys.
